Gabrielle Carey will talk about Randolph Stow as self-exile and the challenges of writing about an Australian writer who appeared to reject the country that was the source of so much of his inspiration. She will also talk briefly about the genre of bibliomemoir in relation to her work-in-progress, ‘Waking Up with James Joyce’.
