Australasian Association for European History 27th Biennial Conference

We are pleased to announce the Australasian Association for European History conference will be held from 5 to 7 July 2021.

The Australasian Association for European History is the premier conference in modern European historical studies in the southern hemisphere. This biennial event brings together scholars of European history from Australia, New Zealand, and all around the world. In 2021, the conference will be held online, providing a global platform for participants to discuss and critique contemporary developments in their fields of research.


Keynote Presentations:  

David Blackbourn (Vanderbilt University) ‘The German Atlantic? Recovering an Invisible World’  

Anna Hájková ( Universityof Warwick) 'The Queer History of the Holocaust'  

Dominique Reill (University of Miami) ‘Living after Empire: How the Quotidian Worked Under the Umbrella of Nation’
