Australian Centre for Indigenous History

Australian Centre for Indigenous History Home Page

The Australian Centre for Indigenous History was established in 2003. We conduct collaborative and individual research projects on Australian, comparative and trans-national Indigenous history.

We aim to create a stimulating and supportive environment for doctoral students, and teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Indigenous history.

We host the journal Aboriginal History, which was founded at ANU in 1977.

With the assistance of generous sponsors, we offer the Minoru Hokari Scholarship for fieldwork in Indigenous history.
