Abstract

Read Frank Bongiorno’s obituary for historian Ken Inglis, who chaired the ADB’s Editorial Board from 1977 to 1996. You will also find a fascinating article by Ross Carpenter on the Legends of Australian Ice website; a piece about some family history sleuthing by Jennifer Higgins; an article by Denis Cryle on George Symes’s attempt to write a biography of Sir Charles Todd, followed by Elizabeth Morrison’s review of Cryle’s own biography of Todd. We also include Malcolm Allbrook’s profile of author and ADB stalwart Pat Clarke.
