The Dictionary of World Biography

The National Centre of Biography is launching Barry Jones's Dictionary of World Biography at the ANU on Thursday 28 November.

At lunchtime Barry will be joined by radio broadcaster and fellow Australian Living Treasure, Phillip Adams, in a conversation about biography in general and dictionaries of biography in particular. At 5.30 pm the ANU’s chancellor, Gareth Evans AC, will launch the Dictionary.

Time: noon to 2.00 pm

Launch of DWB by Gareth Evans
Venue: Common Room, University House, ANU
Time: 5.30 pm to 7 pm

The Dictionary of World Biography is published by ANU E Press in association with the National Centre of Biography. It can be downloaded for free as an E-Book or pdf, or purchased as a hardcopy for $50.
