Abstract

Rick Farley was an extraordinary man:  head of the Cattlemen's Union and the National Farmers' Federation, co-founder of National Landcare, campaigner for Aboriginal rights and Reconciliation. Farley had a simple mission: for all Australians to care a lot better for the country.

This insightful account of his life – cut tragically short by his death at 53 – reveals Farley's motivations and achievements in his search for social justice.
