A Tribute to Susan Ryan - Josh Black

Doctoral candidate, Josh Black, has published a moving tribute to Suan Ryan on the Australian Book Review. 

The late Susan Ryan was a pioneering senator who was a feminist and human rights advocate. She was the first female cabinet minister and assisted in passing key ligislation such as the Sex Discrimination Act. Josh interviewed Ryan only a fortnight before her passing, about her political memoir, "Catching the waves: life in and out of politics".
