In April, Aileen Marwung Walsh, joined other members of the School of History's Rediscovering the Deep Human Past (RDHP) Team Professor Ann McGrath, Dr Ben Silverstein and Dr Laura Rademaker, at two scholarly events held at Harvard University.

Aileen attended the ‘Postcolonial Tensions’ workshop and ‘Deep Historicities: Indigenous Knowledges and the Science of Deep Time’.

Aileen said of the trip, “I’ve been to many conferences and seminars over the years, but the interdisciplinarity and especially the high number of Indigenous academic participants made these seminars the best I have had the pleasure to take part in.”
