Gemma Betros announced recipient of Cushwa Centre for the Study of American Catholicism travel grant

Congratulations to ANU History lecturer Gemma Betros on being awarded the Mother Theodore Guerin research travel grant courtesy of the Cushwa Center for the Study of American Catholicism.

This recently launched Guerin Research Travel Grants is awarded to scholars whose research projects feature Catholic women more prominently in modern history, supporting research travel both in and outside the United States. Gemma's research topic for the grant is  “Sacred Liberty: the Nuns of Paris, the French Revolution, and Napoleon”.
