On Thursday 18 April, ANU CASS Senior Lecturer in History, Dr Romain Fathi launched the SA We Are A Little Bit Français!exhibition at the Unley Museum, in Adelaide.
A collaboration between the Unley Museum, the ANU and Flinders University, Romain worked alongside museum curator Karen Paris and Dr Jade Hastings to research the stories of French migrants to South Australia.
The exhibition celebrates the unique influence of the French on South Australian culture. It unearths stories from across art, industry, war, wine, food, fashion and more from the state's very beginnings until today.
The exhibition will be presented by the Unley Museum until 27 July 2024 and featured as part of South Australia’s History Festival throughout May.
