CEH Director Ruth Morgan and Deputy Director Aditya Balasubramanian recently took part in "Climate and Finance in a Turbulent World: COP31 and Beyond," a breakfast event hosted by the Embassy of Switzerland in Canberra. Professor Debjani Bhattacharyya (University of Zurich), currently a Visiting Fellow at the ANU Research School of Social Sciences, gave the keynote on the entwined histories of climate risk and finance. Ruth joined a panel moderated by Aditya alongside Roxane Bandini-Maeder, CEO of the Tasmanian start-up Geoneon, and Jean-Bernard Carrasco of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, following opening remarks from Swiss Ambassador Barbara Anna Gonzenbach.
