Art of Time Travel shortlisted for PM's and ACT lit prizes

  Tom Griffiths' book, The Art of Time Travel: Historians and Their Craft has been shortlisted in the 2017 Prime Minister’s Literary Awards. Prize money of $100,000 is awarded in each category, with up to $80,000 for each winning entry and $5,000 for each shortlisted entry. In 2008, Tom was a joint winner of the Prime Minister's Prize for Australian History for his book Slicing the Silence: Voyaging to Antarctica (UNSW/Harvard).  The Art of Time Travel is also shortlisted in the 2017 ACT Book of the Year awards.
