The School of History's Dr Alex Cook recently embarked upon a voyage from Sydney to Lord Howe Island to recreate Captain James Cook’s famed 1769 journey to see the Transit of Venus.
Cook shares his adventures on the seven seas with the ANU Reporter and recounts how he braved wind, rain and sea sickness to retrace the steps of Captain Cook.
