Thursday 16 March 2017
Lilian Pearce 22 March 2017 11:30am-12:30pm Fenner Seminar Room, Building #141 Linnaeus Way, ANU Responding to the changing use of history in ecological restoration, this work attends to social, cultural and political aspects of the practice. In this presentation I will map out the broad project and provide case-study accounts of my research practice. I will demonstrate how tools from the humanities and social sciences can be employed to strengthen relationships between people and place through social and environmental change, and to attend to the ethics of restoration in a settler-context.
