Libby Robin on 'slow media' at Berlin's Haus der Kulturen der Welt

Tuesday 30 December 2014
In this video Libby Robin, with colleagues Helmuth Trischler and Reinhold Leinfelder, discusses the idea of 'slow media' at Berlin's Haus der Kulturen der Welt. This was part of a report on the Anthropocene Curriculum, at which is an ongoing negotiation across disciplinary lines, taking place as a multistage, online-based process of active knowledge production. It included a course at HKW from Nov 14 - 22, 2014 involving 100 postgraduate students from around the world. The temporary Anthropocene Campus will be accompanied by a program of talks and discussions in which the participating lecturers will provide insights into the development of the curriculum. Seminar materials, video and audio recordings of lectures and classes, as well as a coursebook will be made accessible online. More information at HKW. Libby Robin on 'Slow Media'
