2011 Minoru Hokari Scholarship winner Glen Stasiuk's research on the Swan River Colony

Glen Stasiuk, the 2011 winner of the Minoru Hokari Memorial Scholarship, has begun research on his scholarship topic, Swan River Colony (1829-1834): From Collaboration to Conflict by meeting with significant Swan River (Wadjuk) Noongar Elders and investigating Midjagooroo and Yagan who were Noongar resistance warriors. Glen is also finalising his documentary WADJEMUP: Black Prison – White Playground.
