Highly Ranked Journals
The Editors of several highly acclaimed history journals are Faculty Members in the School of History at ANU. The School contributes to the journals by supporting staff in their editorial roles and by housing the editorial offices. The School is proud to announce that 'Britain and the World' has been ranked at 34 on the recently released list of Thompson Reuters SSCI rankings.
Britain and the World: Historical Journal of the British Scholar Society

This is a journal of 'British world' history. The editors invite research articles, review essays, and book reviews from historians of all ranks on the ways in which Britian has interacted with other societies since the seventeenth century.
Britain and the World is ranked 34 out of 69 in the SSI category, with a first impact factor (2012) of 0.23.
Aboriginal History Journal

Aboriginal History is the annual refereed journal of Aboriginal History Inc. For over thirty years it has been a flagship of the field of Australian Aboriginal history. The journal has pioneered interdisciplinary historical studies of Australian Aboriginal people's and Torres Strait Islander's interactions with non-idigenous peoples. It has promoted publication of Indigenous oral traditions, biographies, languages, archival and bibliographic guides.
