Journal of Aboriginal History

Journal of Aboriginal History
Friday 21 May 2010

The journal Aboriginal History was founded in 1977. For over thirty years, it has been a flagship of the field of Australian Aboriginal history. Earlier this year, Dr Shino Konishi and Dr Maria Nugent, research fellows in the Australian Centre for Indigenous History (ACIH), were appointed its joint editors. This development further strengthens the close association that exists between the journal and the ACIH. The School of History contributes to the journal by supporting Shino and Maria as editors and by housing its editorial office. Aboriginal History is now published online by ANU e-press and so is freely available on the net. Hard copies can be bought by contacting Thelma Sims (thelma.sims@anu.edu.au). Details about submitting articles can be found on the journal’s webpage:  www.aboriginalhistory.org, or by emailing aboriginal.history@anu.edu.au
