Quest for Honor

Activist women, journalists, and lawmen of the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) join forces to eradicate honor killing and redefine 'honor' in the award-winning film Quest for Honor.

The screening will be followed by a discussion of the film and its reception with Professor Margaret Jolly, ARC Laureate Fellow.

Entry by donation - all proceeds will go to the Women's Centre for Health Matters and the Canberra Men's Centre.

This film screening is presented by the ANU School of History in association with the ANU Centre for Visual Anthropology.

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has considered ‘Quest For Honor’ to be one of the outstanding documentaries of 2010 and it has been selected to screen in the Academy’s 2012 Contemporary Documentary Series.
