History Honours Workshop

An intensive History Honours Workshop held in Canberra on the weekend of 29-31 May 2009 where historians at ANU will lead discussions on various aspects of research and thesis writing, and will provide you with the opportunity to join smaller groups focusing on historical issues of direct relevance to your own work. Students will participate by speaking and writing about their own research-in-progress. Special tuition will be offered in the fields of Biography, Environmental History, Indigenous History and Asian History.

Course organisers and presenters: Professor Tom Griffiths, Dr Nicholas Brown, Professor Melanie Nolan, Professor Ann McGrath, Dr Carolyn Strange, Dr Robert Cribb, Dr Shino Konishi and Dr Libby Robin.

This Honours History Workshop is an iniative of the History Program of the Research School of Social Sciences in association with History in the Faculty of Arts, the Research School of Humanities, the Research School of Pacific and Asian Studies, the Faculty of Asian Studies and the Fenner School of Environment and Society.
